Middleton Networking is built on real relationships and mutual respect. These guidelines set the standard for how we treat one another at our in-person events, our gala, in our online community, and across our directory. By attending an event, joining our community, or participating in any Middleton Networking activity, you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. Who This Applies To

These guidelines apply to everyone who participates in Middleton Networking — including event attendees, sponsors, vendors, business members, directory listees, and members of our online groups (such as our Facebook community). They apply at our monthly networking events, the Middleton Grand Celebration gala, and anywhere our community gathers online or in person.

2. How We Expect You to Show Up

3. Our Right to Admit, Refuse, and Remove

Middleton Networking is a private, independently organized community. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without refund, to refuse entry to, remove from any event, or suspend or permanently remove from our community (including our online groups and directory) any person whose conduct we determine is disruptive, unsafe, dishonest, or in violation of these guidelines — or for any other reason we believe is in the best interest of the community. Registration for an event is a request to attend and does not guarantee admission.

4. Zero Tolerance for Harassment & Discrimination

We do not tolerate harassment, intimidation, threats, or discrimination of any kind — including on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic. This includes unwelcome comments, advances, or conduct at events and in our online spaces. Violations may result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.

5. No Spam or Aggressive Solicitation

Our events are for genuine connection — not a captive audience for hard-selling. Please do not engage in aggressive or repeated solicitation, multi-level-marketing recruiting, mass-pitching attendees, or sending unsolicited bulk messages to members. Respect "no," respect people's time, and let relationships develop naturally.

6. Photography & Video

We photograph and record our events for community and promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded, and to our use of that media (on our website, social media, and marketing materials) without compensation. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let a member of our team know at the event and we will do our best to accommodate you.

7. Events & Personal Safety

You attend our in-person events voluntarily and at your own risk. Please follow all venue rules and the instructions of our team and venue staff, and use good judgment regarding your own safety and belongings. Middleton Networking and its organizers are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property occurring at or in connection with an event, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Do not attend if you are unwell or impaired in a way that could endanger others.

8. Our Online Community

The same standards apply in our online groups. Keep posts relevant and respectful, no harassment or hate speech, no spam or scams, and no sharing of others' private information. We (and the platform's moderators) may remove content or members that violate these guidelines or the platform's own rules.

9. Reporting a Concern

If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines, or if you feel unsafe, please tell a member of our team at the event or contact us using the details below. We take every report seriously and will handle it as discreetly as possible.

10. Enforcement

Depending on the situation, we may respond with a warning, removal from an event, removal of a listing or post, or suspension or permanent removal from the community — at our discretion. Serious violations may result in an immediate, permanent ban without warning or refund.

11. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
